Dont wait for the movie... download the book now!!! lol This book and printable poster has helped us with our transitions. Give it a try and let us know if it helps. the slides are designed for either onscreen reading the poem to you or you can print and cut off the navigation buttons for a book. have fun!!! Instructions: 1. laminate and afix poster to the door. 2. laminate and velcro numbers 1-6. 3, paint or tape giant numbers on the floor where children line up 4. print and assemble book. 5. read the story 6. hand out little velcor numbers to the best cleaner-uppers 7. have them find their numbers 8. stand at the door and say, "Who has #1?" 9. as they place their numbers on the chart have them say, "i have number one so I am first, second, third, etc" (learning ordinal numbers. cool. huh?) 10. repeat steps 6-9 everytime you go outside, wash hands, etc.
